53 The business is running a Google AdWords campaign, but it is not detected by BuzzBoard Ignite. Why?

BuzzBoard Ignite may not have detected the campaign due to one of the following reasons:

  • We may miss the ads if they are heavily geo-targeted or if they are running during a certain time of the day/week
  • The information added to BuzzBoard Ignite for the business listing does not match the information of the business on Google AdWords.

55 What is NAP Error Rate?

The NAP, when referred to inside a BuzzBoard profile, is the Name, Address & Phone number of the business listing. Businesses are listed across many online directories and having a consistent NAP across all of them is crucial. BuzzBoard will take the NAP of the business and then compare this information to how it appears in other online directories. This is how we come up with the NAP Error Rate percentage. The higher the percentage, the more inconsistly listed the business is across online directories, which can negatively impact a business's organic discoverability.

58 What is a BuzzScore?
How to explain the BuzzScore to a prospect?

When we look at a BuzzScore, we're really looking at the holistic view of a business's digital marketing footprint. Providing a 0-100 score helps us get a better understanding of where a business falls in it's digital marketing efforts.

Explaining the BuzzScore effectively to a prospect is key, which is why we recommend using two simple analogies: The School Analogy or the Vitals analogy.

School Analogy: Like in school, students receive a final grade based on the averages of different areas (tests, quizzes, homework, etc.). At BuzzBoard, we're looking at the key areas of the digital marketing spectrum, scoring them and then providing you with that "final grade". This is a directional look at a business's digital marketing efforts - but it does not speak to whether the business is executing correctly.

Vitals Analogy: The most important aspect of the doctor's appointment is when a nurse or clinician takes our vitals (temperature, height, weight, etc.). These results get recorded into a chart and allows the doctor to ask further questions and be more prescriptive with us. The same explanation above can be used when describing the BuzzScore, as we are taking the vital areas of the digital marketing spectrum, scoring them and becoming more prescriptive with our prospects.

59 Can I filter for businesses running OTT that are advertising on CTV?

The proxy signal you want to definitely look at Demand Side Platforms, located in the Technology section. You'll get a list of all the programmatic platforms that BuzzBoard tracks when selecting this option. Another proxy signal you can consider is the YouTube filter, located in the Social Media section.

60 How will we know how much the clinet is spending on advertising? ( Estimated Spend/Mo)

BuzzBoard is taking a historical look at the business's activity based on signals pertaining to Social Media, Search and Display. All figures are estimates. However, the more signals that are attached to a business in these key areas, the higher the propensity there is for that business to spend more. This data should be used directionally.

61 Who all can see my notes that I add to my account?

Your account is your account. No one except the reporting manager can see the notes of his team members.

62 Can my Data be seen by others? ( Eg - My competitors or anyone outside the organization)

Your data is your data. It is not shared with anyone outside of your account. Therefore your competitors or anyone outside the organization cannot see your Data.

63 When I see few records without contacts. How can I get updated contacts? Can BuzzBoard get me contact details?

Yes. Records are updated in 24 working hours once the request contacts is placed by the user.

64 Can we have SEO / PPC without a website?

We cannot do a SEO / PPC without having a website.

65 What are Recent Trends? Why do they always start at '0' and the graph shows upward trend?

It helps you view trends showcasing how your prospect has performed in the last 3 months. If the Prospect has not performed or if BuzzBoard is unable to detect the activity for any of the individual month(s), you may see the value as ‘0’.
