Connect Buzzboard Ignite To Hundreds Of Apps With Zapier
Zapier is a third-party service that helps to connect different web applications. You can use Zapier to connect BuzzBoard Ignite with other applications on the web. It automates the flow of information from one web app to the other. A basic zap in Zapier will include a trigger from BuzzBoard Ignite and a correlating action in another web app—or vice versa.
For example, you can set up a zap to create a new Company in HubSpot whenever you add a new record in BuzzBoard Ignite. You can also set up a zap to enrich a company in HubSpot with BuzzBoard Ignite.
To setup BuzzBoard Ignite & HubSpot with Zapier, ensure you have the following:
- An active Zapier account
- An active BuzzBoard Ignite account
- An active HubSpot account
- Custom fields in HubSpot for BuzzBoard preferred signals
- Should have at least (1) Profile in BuzzBoard Ignite & at least (1) Company in HubSpot

2. Recommended Zaps
Below are the recommended Zaps for BuzzBoard Ignite and HubSpot integration.
Zap 1: This Zap will send the Company info from HubSpot to BuzzBoard Ignite for enrichment. USE THIS ZAP
Zap 2: This Zap will send the digital analysis report and business info signals from BuzzBoard Ignite to HubSpot. USE THIS ZAP
3. Here Is How You Can Set Up The First Zap.
3.1 Log in to your Zapier account and click here to use this zap and click on Try this Zap
3.2 Click on the Trigger - New Company in HubSpot
3.3 It will ask you to connect to your HubSpot account. Choose your HubSpot account and click on Continue.
3.4 If you have not connected your HubSpot account, click on “Sign In” and enter your HubSpot credentials. Once the details have been entered, click on Login.
3.5 After connecting your account, Zapier
will retrieve the properties from HubSpot that are required
for BuzzBoard to enrich a record: Name, Domain, Industry,
Phone, Address, Address2, City, State, Zip, Country,
Website and other properties.
You can choose if there are any additional properties
you want to retrieve otherwise, click on Continue.
3.6 After completing the above setup, test your trigger.
You will receive a sample record from HubSpot. This means that the trigger is successful. Click on Continue.
Note:
To get the sample record, there should be at least one record available in HubSpot.
3.7 After setting up the trigger, you are asked to set up the Action - Create Profile in BuzzBoard Ignite. Now, connect your BuzzBoard Ignite account.
3.8 To connect your BuzzBoard Ignite account, click on New Account and enter your API Token in the Zapier authentication window.
3.9 To find your personal API Key,
Login to BuzzBoard Ignite, click on the profile
menu at the top left and choose the Settings
menu item. In the settings page click on the API Key tab
and then click on Generate API Key (If you have
not previously generated the API Key),
Copy the generated API Key and
paste it into the Zapier authentication window.
(If the API access hasn't been enabled for your account,
please contact your administrator or reach out to
support@buzzboard.com.)
3.10 After pasting the API Key in the Zapier authentication window, Click on Yes, Continue.
3.11 After successful authentication, your BuzzBoard Ignite account is now connected with Zapier. Click on Continue.
3.12 In the Set up action, map the fields as shown in the below image and click Continue.
Note: Below are the minimum required fields for BuzzBoard to enrich a record.

3.13 Now test the Action. After a successful test, it shows a message that a Prospect has been sent to BuzzBoard Ignite. Now you're ready to publish the Zap, Click on Publish Zap.
The first Zap setup is now complete and you can proceed to the setup of the second Zap.
4. Set Up The Second Zap.
4.1 This Zap will send the enriched business info. and digital analysis report (PDF/Asset) from BuzzBoard Ignite to HubSpot.
4.2 Click here to use this Zap and then click on Try this Zap.
4.3 Click on the Trigger - Profile Assets in BuzzBoard Ignite
4.4 Choose the Ignite account that you have already connected with Zapier and click on Continue.
4.5 Now you have to test the trigger, Click on the Test Trigger button.
4.6 After the test, you will receive a sample record from BuzzBoard. This means that the trigger is successful. Click on Continue.
Note:
To get the sample record, there should be at least one record available in BuzzBoard Ignite.
4.7 Now you have to set up the first
Action - Find Company in HubSpot. This step
will search for the existing company in HubSpot using
the Company Name/Company ID.
Choose the HubSpot account that is already connected
with Zapier and click on Continue.
4.8 In the Setup action, map the required field. This will help BuzzBoard to detect the existing company and update the business info signals and digital analysis (PDF) report.

For ‘Should this step be considered a “success” when nothing is found?” Choose ‘No’ if you do not want to create a new record in HubSpot apart from enriching the existing records. Choose ‘Yes’ and map the fields, if you want to create a new record in HubSpot if a duplicate is not detected.
After setting your preferences, click on Continue.
4.9 After testing your action, you will see a message “A Company was sent to HubSpot”. This means that the first Action has been successfully set up. Click on Continue.
4.10 Now you are asked to set up the final Action - Create or Update Company in HubSpot. This action will update the companies in HubSpot with the BuzzBoard business info signals and digital analysis (PDF) report.
4.11 Choose your HubSpot account that is already connected with Zapier and Continue.
4.12 In the Setup action, map all your preferred enrichment fields/signals and click on Continue.
Note:
In the below image, you can see the mapped fields.
4.13 Now test this Action. After a successful test, it shows a message that a Company was sent to HubSpot. Now you're ready to publish the Zap, Click on Publish Zap.
4.14 You are all set up. Add a new record in HubSpot for enrichment. It might take approx. 2-15 minutes for the enrichment to happen based on your Zapier plan.
4.15 In the below sample company, you can see the business info signals and digital health report provided by BuzzBoard.
