Category Insights
Learn interesting facts about your prospects’ categories
Category Insights page is a one-stop guide for all the important facts and trends about your prospects’ business and industry. It presents detailed information on the category’s target market, technology trends, annual sales and many other useful facts.

1 Click on the Profiles icon on the left main navigation panel.
2 Select a business profiles from the list of profiles added to your Ignite account..
3 On clicking the profile card, you will be taken to the Summary page for that profile.
4 Click on the Category Insights tab located on top of the page. This will present the Category Insights page.
5 If the business did not have a category assigned, you will see an option to choose the primary category for the business. Select the category relevant to the business to show up Category Insights.
6 You can either type the category manually or can choose one from the dropdown menu as shown in the below image
7 Click on Submit once you choose the relevant category.
8 Once you submit the selection, Ignite will provide you with available Category Insights.
9 Scroll down to read details about the various sections on the Category Insights page. Here are the different cards:
- Advertising Budget - Digital Advertising and Non-Digital Advertising.
- Media Sales Opportunities - Potential target markets, national events.
- Popular Technology Trends.
- Statistics - No. of businesses, average annual sales per business
- Threats and Opportunities.
- Know their customers - Factors considered by their customers before selecting a product/service.
Note:
Under this section, you can also determine the profile's digital health and its presence and its performance in digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, local presence and others. For this click on the “Go to Digital Marketing” button as shown in the below image.
10 Below are the cards which are shown under the Category Insights tab.
