Pinterest and Instagram Social Signals
BuzzBoard detects if a business has a Pinterest or Instagram business account. You can filter for businesses using Pinterest and Instagram before you add them as a profile and you can filter your existing profiles using these filters as well. These new signals will be available on the competitive analysis, giving you the ability to show your prospects how they stack up, in the social arena, to their most prominent competitors.
To Find Prospects That Have Pinterest & Instagram Business Accounts
1 In the global search bar, enter a Location and enter the Category/Business Name/Website URL/Keyword and click on the Search Icon. (Note, you can choose to keep the ‘search for’ field blank if there is no particular focus desired.)
2 In the ‘Filters to Find Prospects’ area on the left of the page, click on the ‘more’ link at the bottom to display all the filters that are available.
3 In the Social section, scroll down to view the Pinterest and Instagram filters.
4 Toggle the Pinterest or Instagram switch to right/green to find the prospects that have these social accounts. You can also enter additional sub filters like followers, following, posts etc. to dissect prospects further. You will see the number of prospects meeting the criteria set in the right panel.
Note:
The sub-filters will only be available if you toggle the switch to green. You can also find prospects that do not have these social accounts by simply switching the toggle to the left/red. When the toggle is red, the sub-filters will be grayed out.
5 Click on the Find button at the bottom of the filter panel.
6 Clicking on the Find button, you can view all the prospects that match your filter criteria.
7 Click on the Add button to the right of the profile card to run the data on the desired business. You can also select multiple prospects by selecting the checkbox to the left of multiple listings and clicking the Add To Profiles action item that will appear on the right side of the page.
8 Clicking on the Add/Add To Profiles button, prospects will be added into your account. Click on the Profile menu in the main left navigation to view the profiles added into your account.
9 You can filter Profiles to search for those that have or do not have Pinterest and Instagram business accounts. To do this, go to the ‘Filters Your Profiles’ area on the left of the page, click on the ‘more’ link at the bottom to display all the filters that are available.
10 In the Digital Marketing Signals section, scroll down to Social Media Presence to view Pinterest and Instagram signals.
11 Toggle the Pinterest or Instagram switch to right/green to find the prospects that have these social accounts. You can also enter additional sub filters like followers, following, posts etc. to dissect prospects further. You will see the number of prospects meeting the criteria set in the right panel.
Note:
1. You will be able to filter for these signals
on profiles added to your account after July
01, 2020. You will need to manually regenerate
any profiles that were added prior to July 01,
2020.
2. The sub-filters will only be available if

accounts by simply switching the toggle to the
left/red. When the toggle is red, the sub-filters

12 Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the filter panel to view all the prospects that match your filter criteria.
13 Click anywhere on the Profile cards to view the details.
14 Clicking on the Profile Card will take you to the Profile Summary page.
15 Scroll down to view the profiles Social Media Presence score along with other digital scores.
16 Click on the Social Media Presence bar graph or click on the Detailed tab at the header to view the complete details.
17 Clicking on the Social Media Presence bar graph, will take you directly to the Social Media Presence section which displays the complete detailed. If you click on the Details tab at the header, you will need to scroll down to the Social Media Presence section and click on it to view the details.
18 If a profile has a
Pinterest and/or Instagram business account, it will
display the green check mark (
) and if there is no Pinterest and/or Instagram business
account, you will see a cross mark (
).
If a green check mark is there, you can see additional
details like followers, following, etc. Click on the
green check mark to view additional information.
19 You can switch between social accounts by clicking on the social tabs at the header of the page.
20 Click on the Back button in the top right corner to go back to the Profile detailed page.
21 On the profiles page, click on the Competition tab at the top of the page to view the competitor(s) analysis.
22 On the Competition page, you can view the signal comparisons between the base profile and that of their competitors.
If the competitor(s) are not visible, you will have to manually add the competitor(s) or you will have the option to enable auto competition. Learn more..
23 On the competition page, scroll down to the Social Media Presence section to view all the social signals including Pinterest and Instagram social signals.
